Questions before you order a floor

How many boxes do I need?

Measure the room in square feet, add roughly 10% for cuts and waste, then divide by the coverage stated on the product page and round up to whole boxes. Part boxes cannot be shipped. Send us the room dimensions and we will check your arithmetic before you order — a short order means paying freight twice.

Will a second order match the first?

Not necessarily. Vinyl and wood-effect finishes vary slightly between production batches, so a top-up ordered weeks later can sit a shade off against the first lot. Order the whole job at once; that single habit prevents most flooring complaints.

What does delivery cost and how long does it take?

Free from ₹3,999; below that a flat ₹149 on the order. We pack in 3 business days and send from Jaipur through Delhivery Heavy / VRL — 5–8 business days to metro PIN codes, 7–12 business days elsewhere, or 6–15 business days from order to door. Freight runs to its own schedule, so these windows are wider than a courier’s.

Will the boxes be carried upstairs?

No. Delivery is to the ground-floor entrance. The freight partner is not obliged to carry boxes up stairs, into a lift or through the flat, so arrange someone to move them inside. A box of plank is heavy and long — plan for two people.

Do you install, or recommend a fitter?

No. We supply material only: no measuring service, no quotes, no fitting, no subfloor levelling and no fitter network. Peel-and-stick planks and interlocking foam tiles are designed for a competent DIY installation on a flat, dry, clean subfloor.

What subfloor do these need?

Flat, dry, clean and free of dust. Peel-and-stick vinyl will not bond to a damp screed, a dusty floor or an uneven surface, and it will lift at the edges if you try. Interlocking foam tiles are more forgiving but still want a level base. Judging whether your floor qualifies is your call — we sell the material and publish what the maker states.

Should I let the boxes sit before laying?

Yes — lay the boxes flat in the room for 24 to 48 hours first so the material reaches room temperature and humidity. Planks laid straight off a hot truck are the most common cause of gapping and lifting a month later.

How can I pay?

UPI or Cash on Delivery, nothing else — no credit or debit cards, no net banking, no PayPal, and no payment credential is ever stored. Prices are in Indian Rupees with applicable tax included. On a large consignment most customers prefer UPI rather than counting cash at the door.

A box arrived crushed. What now?

Open the consignment while the driver is there, film it, and count the boxes against the invoice. Send us the clip within 48 hours of delivery and we replace or refund at our cost. Signing a clean receipt for damaged freight makes the claim very hard to win.

Can I return flooring I decided against?

Only whole, sealed, unopened boxes, raised within 7 days of delivery, with the return freight arranged and paid by you. Anything laid, cut, peeled or opened cannot come back. Approved refunds are processed within 12 business days — longer than a small-parcel shop because the consignment travels back on a freight service.

Is there a guarantee?

We give no installation guarantee and no warranty of our own. There is no six-month cover and no one-year cover from us. Any manufacturer guarantee that comes with a product is between you and that manufacturer. What you have from us is the returns cover above for material that is faulty, damaged, wrong or short on arrival.

Do you have a showroom?

No — we are online-only, with no showroom and no trade counter. Every order is placed on this website and dispatched from Jaipur, Rajasthan. Email contact@pelaroboutique.shop with any question and a person will answer.
